Du Plessis sends India back home

India played their second match of the super eights of the T20 world cup against South Africa in Colombo yesterday. They we are able to win the match by 1 run but we were knocked out of the series due to their bad performance in their previous match with Australia.

India elected to bat first and put up a score od 152 for 3 in 20.00 overs and they needed to restrict South Africa within 121 to qualify for the semi finals on net run rate but du plessis knocked the stuffing out of the Indian bowlers with his stunning half century that ruined India's dreams.

India's task was all the more difficult after pakistan had comprehensively beat Australia by 32 runs and this victory had strengthened Pakistan's net run rate too.

So Australia and Pakistan survived to the semi-finals from group-2.

Du plessis made 65 of 38 balls with the help of six boundaries and two sixes he played a stunning knock out of the blue.

It was Raina whose contribution that helped India survive, he scores five boundaries during his 34-ball knock. Dhoni's knock combing with raina's knock helped us reach the 150 run mark.

Both the teams played there level best but one had to win so India had won but were knocked out of the tournament.
